Unleash Your True Expression: Support for Anxious Overachievers

For my anxious overachievers, perfectionists, and people pleasers:

Do you ever feel like you’ve mastered the art of being seen in the RIGHT way? Decades of life and you’ve been doing what everyone else expects of you. You have been doing everything “right” (whatever that means). And still, you watch other people stepping into their own and you think, why can’t I do that? It’s like you’ve been soaring along the same flight path throughout your life.

The view is absolutely breathtaking…and yet.

This was the route you’re supposed to fly…and yet.

You believe that life can be bigger, a fullness of expression you see in others…and yet.

You think to yourself…Maybe not for you. You’re not sure why. Your body holds you back.

  • From seeking the partners you feel drawn to

  • From wearing clothes that feel like an extension of your skin

  • From being present with your people, for every bite, every hug, and every photo.

How is it possible to do exactly what you’re supposed to do and still feel so stuck and so alone?

You’re here, reading my blog because perhaps you are curious about working with a Registered Dietitian.

Thoughts run through your head:

  • There’s something wrong with me.

  • Eating shouldn’t be this hard for me.

  • How can I be __ years old and still hate my body?

  • I am addicted to food

Life is hard and there is a lot of messy. You don’t want anyone to see your messy. It’s really hard to let anyone in. I promise you I am not afraid of your shit. I will hold your hair back when you are puking in the toilet (metaphorically). You might be scared. That’s ok. There’s room for your fear, your joy, and everything in between! I will not look away when everyone else has.

You deserve to be seen, heard, and known. As a Registered Dietitian, my primary job is to provide a space for you to show up as yourself and to allow all parts of you to be seen. Whether you are pursuing ED recovery or just feel like things are off with food, I’m here for it. Hop on over to my Contact page or send me an e-mail. I’d be honored to support you.
